Since 1977, the Arts Council of York County has been dedicated to enriching the lives of York County residents through art, culture, and creative expression. As a non-profit organization, it connects people through diverse programs from visual arts, dance and drama to film and music. The Arts Council manages the Center for the Arts and the Gettys Art Center in Old Town, Rock Hill, providing vital resources like artist studios, exhibition spaces, and performance platforms for both emerging and established artists. Annually, it hosts over 70 events, including the Blues & Jazz Festival, the Underexposed Film Festival yc, art markets, concerts, classes, and public art installations, fostering a vibrant and thriving arts community for everyone.
Bethel Shelters

Every day at Bethel Shelters we seek to provide pathways to self-sufficiency for individuals experiencing homelessness. This is the end goal for all our clients. To achieve this goal, we work together with community partners and local businesses. Bethel Shelters currently operates two facilities - our nighttime shelter available to all homeless men in the community and our daytime shelter available to anyone 18 years or older in need of our services.
Carolina Crown, Inc.

Catawba Area Agency on Aging
Catawba Area Agency on Aging provides community services to seniors aged 60 and up, as well as caregivers. We have 4 core programs: Caregiver Program, SHIP (Medicare Counseling), Ombudsman, and Information and Referral. We also complete assessments for the home delivered meals and homemaker programs that we offer through Council on Aging in each of our four counties: York, Lancaster, Union, and Chester counties. All of our programs assist older adults with making informed decisions and aging well in home.
Children's Attention Home

Since 1970, Children’s Attention Home has provided nurturing care and life-changing services for over 9,000 of the community’s most vulnerable youth and families. Primarily serving teens ages 13+, the Home comes alongside every youth and provides stability and comprehensive care, including healthcare, education, and life planning. Through the Home's residential program, youth up to age 21 in SC foster care and ages 17-20 facing housing instability receive the attention and care they need to pursue their healthy path forward. Forming Lives Foundation
Forming Lives Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization focusing its efforts on building a recreation center and a school aimed at improving the community of Santa Cecilia, Colombia. We want to provide education, mentoring and training programs as a tool to break the cycle of poverty. Santa Cecelia is an underdeveloped and underserved community with 10,000 residents of which 6,000 are between the ages of 0-15 years old lacking many social services. The recreation center and programs we envision will focus on community development and preparation to work and be prepared for a better future. Ensuring community youth have a healthy outlet for their creativity and energy is an important step towards long-term improvement.
Fort Mill Care Center
The Fort Mill Care Center is a 100% volunteer-led non-profit organization founded in 1987. We strive to improve the lives of our neighbors in Fort Mill and Tega Cay by providing help with such urgent basic needs as food, hygiene items, prescriptions and utilities. Services to our clients are all generously funded through donations and contributions from individuals, churches, businesses, and community organizations.
Fort Mill History Museum
The Fort Mill History Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is focused on preserving Fort Mill’s heritage for the benefit of present and future generations. Located in downtown Fort Mill, SC the museum welcomes visitors from all over the world telling Fort Mill's story to people of all ages. The museum is recognized as the source in preserving, educating, and communicating Fort Mill's history, and the champion for engaging members, visitors, and the community to continue building on the rich heritage of Fort Mill.
The Haven Men's Shelter
Mission is to help break the cycle of chronic homelessness by empowering homeless men through igniting hope, demonstrating compassion, providing encouragement, and creating opportunities.
Keystone Substance Abuse Services
Keystone Substance Abuse Services is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by substance use. We offer a full continuum of care—including prevention, intervention, treatment services, and recovery management—designed to support and empower those on the path to recovery.
MaxAbilities is a local service agency whose mission is to support individuals to maximize their abilities through a team focus (teaching, empowering, advocating, mentoring). MaxAbilities operates 30 special needs programs and services throughout York County and has been supporting individuals locally since 1980.
At NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families through education, support, and advocacy. We are dedicated to providing hope to those who need it most. Our no-cost, peer-led support groups, community education programs, trainings, and drop-in centers across Chester, Lancaster, and Rock Hill Counties create safe spaces for connection, understanding, and healing.

Tender Hearts Ministries
At Tender Hearts Ministries, we are committed to breaking the chains of Homelessness, Poverty, Addiction, Abuse, and Despair. We serve men, women and children, providing them with a safe environment, detox referral, recovery and transformational programs, job training and mentorship.Tender Hearts Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)3 Christian organization that started in the City of York, South Carolina. For over 15 years, we have served families as well as men with children, women with children and homelessness in our community by transforming their lives in God’s glory. The operation is managed with paid staff and volunteers from our great community. As God leads, we partner with churches, individuals, businesses and organizations to maximize our reach.
